TV recs? - bry - 05-29-2026

Anyone been watching anything newish that they would recommend? I feel like I haven't seen anything in awhile that's really struck me. Is the "peak TV" era in the rear view??

I liked Paradise on Hulu - two seasons are out and the third comes out next year. But yeah I feel like with all the different streaming services it is hard to have that one hit show that everyone is watching.

I just finished the new season (and series finale) of The Bear (on FX/Hulu).

Love love loved this show but maybe not all the anxiety it brought. I enjoy restaurants and have worked in several up and down the spectrum of casual to fine dining and this show was so well done.

Have you seen it, Bry?

I finished it last week! I feel like the show kinda peaked with S2, but the final season wrapped up well.

Decided to try The Pitt last night since it has such good reviews. Will report back after a few more episodes.

I argee with that. I'm glad they ended it intentionally, though. I hate when TV shows go and go and you hate watch because you've invested so much time already (The Walking Dead).
