What album has the best second half?

I've been thinking about this and I keep coming back to Third Eye Blind's self titled. All the hit singles are front loaded, but the back half is better.

Gotta be Wildlife by La Dispute for me. Love the first half, but feel like the record takes a noticeable emotional turn halfway through and takes everything to the next level.

Are we talking "albums with second halves that rip even more than the first"? Or "THE album with the best second half"?

If the first, I'd put down:

• Pedro the Lion - Control

If the second, I'd still pick Pedro the Lion - Control. The album hits hard out of the gate for me, track 5 is my least favorite on the record, but then 6-10 are all top-tier.

I didn't discover my love for this album until I was roughly 30 years old, a good 20 years after it came out, and it's so good.  I wrote it off forever as being Jumper and Semi Charmed and it's so much more than those songs.  Motorcycle Drive By into God of Wine is a primo driving home at night experience.

I can't think of a good answer to this question yet, but will report back when I do.

Best songs on the album are the non singles. And I definitely had some Motorcycle Drive By into God of Wine night drive experiences. It's been a long time though, may have to do it soon.
